Journal Submissions Extended to May 10

All currently-enrolled undergraduate and graduate members of active Sigma Tau Delta chapters still have time to submit their work to The Sigma Tau Delta Review and The Sigma Tau Delta Rectangle. The submissions deadline has been extended to Monday, May 10.

Submissions are limited to one total for both journals. That is, one critcal essay for The Sigma Tau Delta Review OR one short story, one creative non-fiction piece, or one group of three poems to The Sigma Tau Delta Rectangle.

Contributors who win overall awards will also receive a monetary prize as well as publication.

View complete guidelines for online journal submissions.

Meet Our New Student Leaders

At the 2010 International Convention, students elected a Student Representative (SR) and an Associate Student Representative (ASR) for each of the six Regions. Read their personal introductions, along with those of our 2010-11 Student Advisors (SAs), Lauren Brandeberry and Anna Morgan.

Regional and Alumni Newsletters

One of the SR's and ASR's primary responsibilities is to produce their region's biannual newsletter. You don't want to miss the spring issues that include regional news about your new student leadership, upcoming events, the 2011 Common Reader (Black Ice, by Lorene Cary), original works by members, and more.

Links to the spring alumni newsletter and all six regional newsletters can be found in the left column and on our home page www.english.org.
